Sue retired as Vice President of the global sample management department at GlaxoSmithKline responsible for the quality and rigor of the R&D supply chain.
Sue has significant experience in working in a global, multicultural environment managing projects and teams across international locations and organizational boundaries, having worked in the UK, Spain, and the USA.
She has significant experience in medicine discovery and is a recognized expert in automation. . Sue holds a degree in Microbiology and a PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and is a trained Lean Sigma facilitator. She served as a board member and treasurer of SLAS and is a fellow of the Society.
She is passionate about personal development with accreditation as a job-plus coach and mentor.
Sue runs her own consultancy company specializing in sample management, automation, and drug discovery.
