Mackenzie has been working in the field of mass spectrometry for more than a decade. She currently works at Eli Lilly and Company as a senior advisor in the bioanalytical mass spectrometry group as a lipidomics specialist, but also works on high-throughput methods on the Echo MS for metabolomics applications. Before receiving her PhD from the University of Texas Southwestern in 2017, she worked in the same lab at Eli Lilly developing high-throughput screens on the RapidFire instruments for enzyme and cell based assays. After grad school, she worked as an applications scientist for SCIEX training customers on mass spectrometry technologies.
