I am currently an Assistant Research Scientist at UC San Diego Health in the Department of Surgery at the Moores Cancer Center. My research aims to uncover mechanisms of drug resistance in pancreatic cancer. We strive to discover novel actionable therapeutic vulnerabilities as well as use currently avaible drugs in combination to overcome resistance. We also aim to improve ex-vivo modeling for this complex disease using 3D organoids and patient-derived tumor slice cultures.
