Jon D. Williams, PhD (he/him/his)

Dr. Jon Williams is a Research Fellow at AbbVie and leads the Chemical Biology and Mass Spectrometry Technologies team. During his career, he has created and applied many different types of mass spectrometry technologies to impact Drug Discovery efforts at AbbVie and at his former employer. He has co-led the effort to transform iR-MALDESi-MS into a ultrahigh throughput mass spectrometry platform for biochemical, cellular and chemical screening. His team is also pioneering the usage of data independent mass spectrometry to make higher throughput proteomic and chemoproteomics assays. Dr. Williams is also interested in finding novel ways to integrate proteomics and metabolomics into target identification and validation efforts.
