Maurice Kahnwald (he/him/his)

Maurice studied Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences in Mannheim, Germany before he visited the Ries Lab at EMBL for his master thesis and a research-period. In this lab, Maurice came into contact with method development for microscopy and developed pipelines to assess and improve image quality in superresolution microscopy. Currently, Maurice pursues his PhD studies in the Liberali Lab at FMI, Basel (Switzerlands), where he builds methods to improve and upscale conditions for human intestinal organoids to probe the mechanisms of intestinal regeneration.
