Timothy P. Spicer, PhD (he/him/his)

Timothy Spicer Ph.D. is a Senior Scientific Director at UF Scripps. He joined Scripps Florida in 2005 and is now a part of the Gator Nation since April 2022. He has 33 years' experience in drug discovery, including 10 at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He is currently the director of HTS and discovery biology and co-directs the screening center at UF Scripps. He is a member of the UF Health Cancer Center and co-leader of cancer targeting and therapeutics. He supervises HTS related efforts including technology development for which he has impacted on a worldwide scale. Tim currently serves on the BOD for the Florida Center for Brain Tumor Research, ChemoSen3D as well ViQi AI. He is the past president for SLAS and continues on the editorial board of SLAS Discovery. He has authored >150 drug-discovery publications and holds 9 patents, including for those that represent drugs now in man.
