Dr. Anna Jezierski received her PhD at the University of Ottawa in Molecular and Cellular Medicine and completed her Post-Doctoral studies in Science Policy at Health Canada in the Health Products and Food Branch. She is currently a Research Officer at the Human Health Therapeutics Research Centre at the National Research Council of Canada and an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Ottawa. She leads a research program focused on leveraging human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to develop translational models of the central nervous system and the blood brain barrier combining stem cells, organ-on-chip and 3D bioprinting technologies to advance drug discovery and cell based therapies.
