Dr. Gang Song serves as Chairman of the Board at Pillar Biosciences. He was the founder and founding CEO of Pillar Biosciences, where he co-invented the SLIMamp® technology and led the company from early research to the first multi-cancer CDx NGS kit that received the PMA approval by the FDA.
Dr. Song subsequently co-founded Affyimmune Therapeutics, a cellular immunotherapy company powered by the Tune & Track affinity-tuned CAR T cells for solid tumors, with its lead program under the Phase 1 clinical trial in the US.
Dr. Song is the co-founder and founding CEO of ImmunOracle. He is also an operating partner of ORI Capital.
Previously, Dr. Song was a Technical Lead at Integrated Genetics, LabCorp (previously Genzyme Genetics), and before that, was a Project Lead at IQuum before its acquisition by Roche Molecular Diagnostics. Dr. Song completed his postdoctoral training in Timothy Springer’s lab at Harvard Medical School and received his Ph.D. from Shanghai Medical School of Fudan University, China.
