Johanna Bobrow is assistant staff in the Biological and Chemical Technologies Group at Lincoln Laboratory. Over her twenty years at the Lab, her research has spanned from sample preparation and technologies for PCR-based detection and identification of biowarfare agents, to protocol development for DNA forensics and sequencing, to physiological status monitoring and hearing damage modeling for warfighter welfare. More recently she has turned to device design, rapid model prototyping and manufacture of novel devices for biological assays and synthetic biology research. Prior to joining the Laboratory in 1999, she received her bachelor’s degree in Brain and Cognitive Science from MIT.
