Philip Iversen is an Associate Professor at Luther College and has a PhD in Statistics from Iowa State University. Previously, he worked for Eli Lilly and Company in pre-clinical research supporting projects primarily in oncology and Diabetes. He is a co-author of several chapters in the Assay Guidance Manual (AGM) and serves on the AGM editorial board. During his 25 years working for Eli Lilly, he developed expertise in the statistical design, optimization, validation, and analysis of pre-clinical assays, as well as in the design and analysis of pre-clinical drug combination studies. He has taught numerous short courses on statistical methods in pharmaceutical research.
