Dr. Yuan Tian, Co-founder, Chief Technology Officer of VivoSphere. Dr. Tian has an interdisciplinary background in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, and chemistry. He has 9 years of experience on developing 3D tissue-engineered models and translating their uses in drug discovery, cell manufacturing, 3D bioprinting, and injectable cell delivery. Dr. Tian performed his graduate research within Dr. Elizabeth Lipke’s research group at Auburn University where VivoSphere technology was first invented. In the summer of 2022, Dr. Tian co-founded VivoSphere LLC with Dr. Lipke to commercialize the VivoSphere technology.
