Bikram received his bachelors in biological sciences from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He then joined the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Lerner Research Institute as a researcher studying dynamics of viral pathogenesis and replicative fitness of HIV. From there he moved back to Case Western Reserve University to pursue research in the pathology of human prion disease at the CDC funded National Prion Disease Surveillance Center. In 2007, Bikram made the jump to BioTek Instruments, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of microplate readers, high-content imagers and automated liquid handling solutions used in a variety of settings from academic, industrial, agricultural and pharmaceutical laboratories. Bikram held several senior roles in sales, channel sales management and marketing at BioTek. He is currently the director of strategic marketing for the BioTek business unit at Agilent where he helps drive the delivery of the voice of customers in marketing efforts and product innovation for the BioTek product line.
