Colin is a biotechnologist with a PhD in molecular biology and over a quarter-century of experience in laboratory automation and screening. He specializes in automation process scaling, team building, and laboratory technology development. Colin is passionate about the automation community and SLAS, attending these conferences since 1999 and becoming a SLAS Fellow. Colin has worked on the Student & Early Membership and Board of Director Nominating committees, been a mentor in the Mentor Match program, been a Tony B. Award judge, and a many-time New Product Award judge for both the Amercas and European conventions. He has also taught the 3D Printing short course and co-led the 3D Printing Special Interest Group. Colin is also deeply passionate about DEI initiatives and has contributed to and built new employee resource groups in both large pharma and small biotech settings.
