Sam Portnoff is a member of the Strategy Realization Office at ATCC, a global biological resource center and standards organization. Sam’s work has focused on improving technology implementation within the organization and looking for ways to infuse new technologies. A specific focus area has been ATCC’s repository and logistics operation where we are looking at ways to bringing automated technologies into to those workstreams. Prior to joining ATCC in the Fall of 2022, Sam worked for several medical device companies focusing on manufacturing and process engineering and led project teams to implement automated manufacturing solutions. Sam is a member of SLAS and ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering) and is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional).
