Mathew Keegan

Automata

Mathew is Automata's Head of Applications Engineering. He received his BSc in Computer Science and MSc in Software Engineering at Aberystwyth University and spent the first part of his career scaling hyper-growth startups where he built large technical teams across Europe.

He began his career with Automata in 2019 where he founded the Presales Engineering department which today includes Applications Engineering, Applications Sciences, and Instruments development. During the pandemic, he helped to design and build a next generation COVID testing facility for the NHS, with the capability to test 100,000 patients a day.

Today, you will find him advising some of the world's leading labs on how to transform their manual processes into fast and flexible automated workflows.
