Graduate Student (PhD)
Department of Pharmacology, National University of Singapore, Singapore
I possess a Diploma in Biotechnology (specialised in veterinary sciences) and completed my BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences in the year 2012. Having worked as both a research technician and lab manager in my Academic mentor's cancer research lab, I am driven with passion to combat cancer through innovative approaches and solutions. Therefore, I am pursuing a PhD in Life Sciences with a specific interest in identifying novel therapeutic strategies to target the epigenome of solid tumours such as gastric cancer. My primary research interests are personalised medicine, cancer epigenetics and technological advances in high-throughput/high-content screenings. I believe in the importance of cancer research as researchers like us are given a chance to help transform the lives of cancer patients. We should continue to uphold strong research values and strive for excellence in preventing, detecting and treating cancer patients. I am so privileged to have this opportunity to present my poster as SLAS2024 and to be able to meet all SLAS participants.
