Senior Lab Automation Specialist

Adam Poltorak is a Senior Lab Automation Specialist for BioAgilytix, a global CRO based out of Durham, North Carolina. Adam attended North Carolina State University and received a B.S in Human Biology. Following his tenure at NCSU, Adam entered the CRO space as a Cytogenetic Technologist for the Micro-Array group at LabCorp/Covance. During his time at LabCorp, the transition was ongoing to fully automate the Micro-Array assay for Prenatal, Pediatric, and Oncology genetic diagnostics. Adam stepped in and learned how to program, maintain, and effectively integrate liquid handler platforms into a manual assay. He then took that experience to his current position at BioAgilytix where automating PK, ADA, BioMarker, Immunogenicity, and cell-based assays is a daily occurrence. He has 5+ years of experience working with Hamilton, Tecan, BioMek, Formulatrix, and Integra systems.
