Dr. Jie An is currently an R&D Team Lead at OmniSeq- a Subsidiary of LabCorp. Dr. An earned her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University and an M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Sichuan University. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Texas A&M Health Science Center/Baylor Scott&White Health. Dr. An has published over twenty papers and meeting abstracts as first author and co-author in scientific journals, and as a co-inventor has acquired several patents. She has also served as a manuscript evaluator for multiple scientific journals. With a focus on personalized medicine especially in the field of cancer diagnostics, Dr. An studies genetic variability in cancer using most up-to-date approaches including next generation sequencing (NGS) to help patients find the right drug and assist pharmaceutical companies in drug development.
