Robotics Engineer
Argonne National Laboratory
My focus lies in scalable robotics interfaces, animating cutting-edge robots for self-driving labs. I work on projects harmonizing multiple robots, creating drivers for SCARA and 6-DOF manipulators. Using remote interfaces, I enhance robot communication. I delve into kinematic calculations and resource management, developing solutions for optimal functionality. Collaborating with the Workflow Execution Interface (WEI), a product of the Rapid Prototyping Laboratory at Argonne National Laboratory, I equip each robot with REST API and ROS2 nodes for seamless communication.
Furthermore, I work on visualization, creating packages for robots to simulate workflows with tools like RViZ, Gazebo, and Nvidia Omniverse Isaac. Integrating AI and pattern recognition, I enhance labs by teaching robots to identify tools with 6-DOF cameras and Deep Learning Techniques. This enables autonomous tool manipulation, showcasing commitment to advancing innovation in laboratory automation for a smarter future.
