Graduate of University of Arizona (BSE) with 13 years of lab automation and instrumentation experience in personalized medicine and clinical molecular high-complexity diagnostics. Prior to joining Beckman Coulter Life Sciences Ian was an academic principal automation engineer who stood-up and managed several shared instrumentation core facilities and an automated CAP accredited SARS-CoV-2 testing pipeline. With Beckman, Ian focuses on applying his jack-of-all-trades background to developing end to end workflow solutions for NGS, cell and gene therapy, and synthetic biology.
