This presentation will highlight an innovative approach in automating CRISPR research efforts at Mammoth Biosciences, demonstrating the successful integration of Agilent’s precision liquid and consumable handling systems with Agilent BioTek’s sample processing units. The result is a highly optimized automated ELISA workflow, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of therapeutic target selection in gene editing research. Maintaining equivalency with traditional manual processing our approach not only ensures reliability but also sets a new standard for Mammoth research efficiency.
Part 2: Benchtop Automated Biochemical and Cell-Based Assay Processing
Benchtop processing of microplates for workflows related to biochemical or cell-based assays typically consist of repeated cycles of microplate washing, reagent addition, and incubation. Plates can be moved between dedicated microplate dispensers and dedicated microplate washers but combination microplate washer-dispenser systems offer efficiencies in throughput. The new Agilent BioTek 406 FX washer dispenser, in combination with the Agilent BenchCel microplate handler and Agilent BioTek multimode microplate reader, can be incorporated into these workflows to significantly increase a laboratory’s assay throughput.
