(1327-D) Integration of Nucleic Acid Sample Quality Assessment in Liquid Handling Workflows with the Colibri Module

Abstract: The Colibri module presents a novel advancement for PCR and NGS solution manufacturers by enabling the direct integration of nucleic acid sample quality measurements within existing liquid handling workflows. It offers a compact, OEM-compatible component that occupies minimal space, consuming no sample material while providing concentration and purity data. This integration is designed to alleviate the time and material losses associated with conventional pre-analytical steps that involve separate spectrometry or external reading devices. By analyzing four distinct wavelengths, the module ensures accurate and reliable baselines for assessing sample quality. Engineered with the inclusion of UV-capable COC cuvettes, it guarantees zero sample loss and contamination-free transfer. Furthermore, the Colibri module's design aligns with environmental consciousness and cost-efficiency by reducing the need for external devices and minimizing consumable waste. The module and the cuvettes are produced by HSE for seamless incorporation into manufacturers' offerings, enhancing the efficiency of nucleic acid analyses.
