I'm Eliza Ranjit, a dedicated Ph.D. candidate at Griffith University, committed to pioneering titanium surface modifications using a novel keratin-based biomaterial for enhanced osseointegration. My research spans lab investigations, cell cultures, automated image analysis, and preclinical studies using athymic rat models. With an M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology, I bring 5 years of research assistant experience and a year as an immunology lecturer. Awards include Outstanding Student in Medical Microbiology (2014), GUIPRS (2019), and GU nominee for the IADR-ANZ Colgate poster competition (senior category) in 2023. My research interests are microbiology, immunology, and tissue engineering, with a strong background in biomaterial and cell imaging protocols. I've published ten papers and presented at three conferences, affirming my role as a leading researcher. As the manager of Griffith University's dentistry lab, I conduct research on oral tissue regeneration, focusing on bone healing, osseointegration, angiogenesis, biofilm, and immunomodulation.
